And who said you had to purchase japanese releases with no subs? there are plenty of domestic releases with subs that cost only $20 or $30 about half the price or even 1/3 the price of a mediocre video game xD

@GinkoArtEtc I see the terrible prices in here Finland where they sell imported DVD anime boxes. Usually also the second-hand anime boxes are really expensive. There is also some popular anime series available with Finnish subtitles and with a cheaper price, but usually the subtitles are in very bad quality and all of the DVD extras are missing. If I ever get a credit card (which is really difficult in Finland) I would order all anime from abroad.
