Dead Ringer Spy Video 6 - Viaduct

Well, after recovering form the DR nerf bug, I decided to make some videos on the new maps. Unfortunately, all attempts at Yukon thus far have ended in mistakes, steamrolls and general ineffectiveness. But that'll probably be next, so hold on to your hats!

(Speaking of hats I got my 5th one a few days ago. It was another Demo hat, the top hat one. Still waiting on my Spy hats)

I still intend on finally doing Badwater, but I hardly ever have decent games on that. It's either one-way steamrolling or me throwing myself at the enemy until I get it right.

hey i love your vids and play deadringer cause of it but i keep getting insane amounts of framerate lag...any suggestions?

Make sure that Full Dynamic Range effects are disabled. That bloody setting is always what causes me to lose about 20 FPS.

The DR nerf bug was basically a glitch in programming during the Classless Update. Basically, they decided to change some values around to make the different watch attributes plus or minus certain percentages, instead of both being +160% or something like that. And, due to a blunder, it meant the Dead Ringer's cloak only lasted 4 seconds while the cloak and dagger lasted 8.

Yeah, I play on a laptop. It's surprisingly good for TF2, but I get about 20FPS on L4D2.

I normally destroy this map with the Dead Ringer. All the alternative paths are really useful for spying in general.
