So were the votes from Denmark, too....

Thank you, someone finally voted for Austria... I feel bad when countries get zero votes.

@DavidSandKnakMUSIK You don't even have to include the entire Balkan. Only from former Yugoslavia there are now 7 countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Macedonia. So I agree, even IF the Nordic countries really do perfom block voting, it's not near on the same scale as the Balkans.

I loved United Kingdom this year: Denmark 12 points! We (and UK as well) had one of the best songs placed in 1984.

@setheurovision94 The diffrence is here, that Scandinavia were 4 nations (5 when Iceland joined in 86), but the countries at the Balcan peninsula is less 25!

Italy was with no doubt the best.Shame it didn;t win.

Yeah, 10 points to Switzerland and Cyprus? Lol, the voting was really TOO balanced this year.

Italy was MILES better than all the others that year. "I treni di Tozeur" is a true ESC classic.
Why did the scoreboard chanching colour? From black to blue?

I believe it was a transmission error in the camera filming the scoreboard. If you look at it from the hall, it's actually black and has yellow letters.

scandinavian countries complain now about neighbour voting from the balkans while they didn't do anything else over five decades and thats why they won undeserved so often - prime example is going on here

Neighbourly voting is nothing new in Eurovision, whether in Scandinavia or not, it's just that today block voting practically dominates the contest. With Scandinavia, in the old days, if a Scandinavian song had potential it was likely to be very much supported by its neighbours (such as here). It was also sometimes the other way around, completely ignoring each other.
