Congressman Pascrell Claims Most Tort Reform Doesn't Work

Video taken of Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr. (D-NJ) during his only August Recess 2009 in-person Town Hall Meeting. Pascrell comments that if you show me tort reform that will bring down premiums, I will take a look at it. I will leave it up to your own judgment as to how sincerely this comment was made, considering that Pascrell also said that in most of the states that I know with tort reform -- because its different in every state -- it has not brought down in and of itself premiums. Of course, in most states, the harmful meddling that state governments and the federal government have done have led to premiums rising overall, more than overcoming the beneficial effect of proper tort reforms.
