Virginia - Fredricksburg - Halifax - VA - Fairfax - Lebanon Truck Accident victims should call 800-773-6770 to talk to Gordon & Elias. Also visit: http://www.truckaccidentlaw.org/Virginia.shtml. Our phones are answered 24/7/365 by real lawyers. Truck drivers falling asleep is a very real possible cause of a serious accident causing serious injury or wrongful death. Selecting the right truck accident lawyer is an all important decision. Choosing where to sue "venue" is a very crucial decision. Often times, the trucking company and the truck driver are from different states other than from Georgia and that gives you other options from VA. Virginia may be the best venue after all is considered. What we have found is that, if possible, a law firm is more at to file a lawsuit in or near where they office even though that venue selection may not be the absolute best choice. At Gordon & Elias, L.L.P., because we have relationships with lawyers in every state, we are not so confined.

Virginia personal injury attorneys are very good lawyers. At Gordon & Elias, we are Texas based and we represent truck accident victims in almost every state. Call 1-800-773-6770. Our phones are answered 24/7/365 by real trucking injury lawyers. Also visit our site at: http://www.truckaccidentlaw.org/Virginia.shtml
Semi, tractor trailer, Big Rig, 18 Wheeler, call it what you will, can be deadly. Sometimes a truck driver does not have to be negligent in the operation to cause wrongful death or serious injury. He can cause it by failing to maintain the equipment and that causes an accident. In an owner operator situation; in a leasing situation; or where you have a truck company that employs its own drivers and maintains its own trucks, there must be regular maintenance programs that are followed to the letter.

If you or a loved one has suffered an injury in Alexandria, Arlington, Blacksburg, Charlottesville, Chesapeake, Chesterfield, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Garrisonville, Halifax, Hampton, Harrisonburg, Lebanon, Leesburg, Lexington, Lynchburg, Mechanicsville, Newport News, Norfolk, Petersburg, Portsmouth, Radford, Richmond, Roanoke, Salem, Short Plump, Sterling, Suffolk, Vienna, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Winchester, Woodstock or Yorktown please call.

There is no obligation if you make the call and there is no fee if there is no recovery.

  • WELLL.first off you got Virginia closeing down alot of the rest areas, so there is no where to park and get rest. And what ones r open they only want you to stay there for 2 hrs and then leave. So how r u to get any rest there in the state of virginia. And most wreaks r caused by cars not the truck driver. I would ask u to go ride with a truck driver for a week and see what all he has to do then u just might have to change your mind on things.

  • @tcss4 Dear tcss4- I completely agree that Virginia's closure of the Rest Areas around mid to end 2009 due to cost issues is inexcusable. We had a man that had to park his truck on the right side of the freeway with other trucks lined up outside of a rest area because to go further he would be over-time and another trucker fell asleep at the wheel and hit him. Then the trucker that got hit got a ticket for where he parked!! I also agree that cars create accidents.

  • The driver and company are both easy targets. That's why you only mentioned those two. What about the customer that keeps a driver at their facility all day, then kicks the driver off their property once unloaded? How bout going after the government when the driver can't find a safe and legal place to park?
