This is the second of three videos covering tire changing using a Harbour Freight style tire Changer.
This is the easiest of the three steps.
Enjoy.

  • yea some times it's hard to get the tire to seal again the more air you have the better it 's as much about volume as it is pressure and some time need 125% of max rolling pressure.

One trick is to remove the valve so you can get all the air in quickly. You also need to kind of jiggle it around. Maybe I need to make another video ?

  • was that the weight that you knocked off or just a clip?

  • Thats the weight you need to re balance the tire after anyway so you should knock them off.

  • Ok....changed my tubeless motorcycle tire. I broke the bead prior to.removing...now the bead wont lock. I dont have a.big compressor that would inflate it quick to lock the bead

  • Nice. I have been a mechanic for almost 30 years and never saw a manual tire changer. Now it looks so simple! I want one! Thanks for the vid.

  • U so right about bolting it to something, when I got mine I wanted to give it a try without bolting it and asked my wife to stand on the bottom arms and she's only 9 stone and nearly killed poor thing.

  • We use dish soap and water to lube up the tire

  • just a little tire lube, prevents the needless tool banging, if your cheap use Murphy oil soap, helps alot if you maybe get some post 84 rims...

  • Why did you bag the guy with the cold? His vids were straight to the point, clear and short. What else did you want from him?

  • Good Instructional Video!!! thank-you :>
