Fukui Housing Park CM Debut with Fukui Dialect

This was one of the many times I was on TV during my time in Fukui. I found this one to be hilarious since they took our voices and dubbed them in Fukui-ben. The Fukui-ben used in this CM was used too heavily that they included subtitles for normal Japanese people to understand. The original script went like this:

Husband: Hey, would you like to come with me to housing park? They've got 9 prefabricated houses!

Wife:That's great! If we live in houses like those, we'll have a new lifestyle!

Husband: Yeah, it's a wonderful thing!

Fukui-ben is such a hard dialect to understand. I was at a loss when we got an exchange student who was from the fukui area. I tried to speak some Japanese to her, but couldn't understand what she was saying....even after 8 years of Japanese study.
