I couldn't have said it better myself. Bravo for telling these idiots how it is! I'm a longliner fisherman (remember the movie THE PERFECT STORM?) and we deal with these same kind of assholes all the time. They haven't figured out where everything they have in life comes from and don't realize that life is full of compromises. It's called immaturity. Unfortunately some of them never grow up.
They need to get real jobs and provide for themselves, instead of hassling everyone else

Stupid treehuggers. You all are the real circus. If any of you had jobs and responsibilities, you wouldn't have the time or the energy to harass people just trying to make an honest living. It would have been so funny to watch 'Matt' get his pathetic little arse stomped. Any treehugger that ever steps a foot on my property will have more to worry about than assault. Pathetic, bored, liberal indoctrinated snots are what you are.

need a state a city to go wit that...
Haha you industry pimps lose again. This company did EXACTLY what we warned everyone of--it went bankrupt and now Zeb Mtn is a disaster as NONE of what they promised to do has happened.

So much to say, so little time to do it.
So much misspelling. So much ignorance. So little concern for anyone's opinion other than that of their own smart-ass little minds.

That is a terrible excuse. This is an open forum for posting -- literally anyone can argue their point and what they think beneath youtube videos. If you have some secret wisdom as to why blowing up highland watersheds for coal is a great idea you have zero excuse for not offering them up.

My guess is you are the nit-wit in the video. How about some ideas from you?
As for me, here are my ideas. Number one, these West Virginia mountains are my home. Mining is my job. I love them both.
As for blowing up the "watersheds," you obviously care little about truth or you would admit AND SHOW the work our industry does to restore these mountains after mining is completed. And the watersheds you are talking about are dry ditches at the heads of these hollows that flow when it rains.

No, actually I wasn't at the protest at all--but thank you for starting your comments with insults. I have been in those watersheds--it used to be my job when I worked for the World Bank and California Fish and Game. I have seen streams running bright orange. I have seen them running chocolate. I have seen following streams buried--and video taped it. Plus took high resolution pictures of it with GIS cooridinates. SO I know for a fact that your charecterization of these watersheds is false.

It was your job at the World Bank and California Fish and Game to inspect WEST VIRGINIA coal mines and streams?
Maybe that's why you aren't working there anymore.

No I did it all over West Africa and Northern California--which made it doubly horrible to see practices we spent millions in tax dollars to prevent in 3rd world countries and elsewhere being done here in the Appalachia's. Once you blow a mountain up you no longer have a functioning hydrological system--you have a pile of rubble. The strip mining is taking one of the most biologically diverse places on the planet and turning them into parking lots.
