Ethnic groups are not restricted to race, Judaism is considered a religious ethnic group.

You CAN discriminate against an ethnic group and while the term racist is severely faulty in this case, it is commonly refered to since most people refer to their ethnicity as their race.

On top of that it is perfectly viable for a person to be a part of several ethnic groups at once, take for example the Jews, you can be jewish and still be Celtic, Basque.. and so forth.

no we're not. Judaism is a religion. Same as Christianity. Jews can be white, black, asian, hispanic, all kinds of races, but Judaism itself is a religion

They're not a race, I would know since I'm Jewish. They were classified a race during WW2 when Hitler termed them as such. Jews are a religious group not a race. Their can be black jews, white jews, asian jews etc. You can be any race and be Jewish

Technically they ARE since they're classified as an ethno-religious group, meaning that they share a common ethnic background alongside a common religion. So yes, they are a race.

And races, just so you know, are determined through a multitude of factors, not just physical ones or geographical ones. It's a very broad term that people tend to generalize as simple skin color or appearance, but the word has evolved since it's introduction.

A race is the physical characteristics one is made up of. Being black, white, Hispanic, Chinese, Japanese, are examples of race. Being Jewish, Christian, Islam are religions. You have the Jewish people and the Jewish religion, the christian people and christian religion and the Islamic people and religion. Judaism is not a race.

Its not an ethnicity. Black is a race, white is a race, Hispanic is a race. One could not like jews and be antisemitism but being Jewish is not a race. Just like one cannot be racist towards Christian people cause christianity is a religion, and the Christian people are a people, not a race.
