hello great video , im starting a project of my own soon , how long did that process take you ? also do you solder both sides and do you cement both sides and whats the white powder ? thank you would be great to hear the answers :)

@MrElectroboy84 the whole thing can be done in a weekend. Yes, you solder and cement both sides. The white powder is Whiting, (calcium carbonate powder), sprinkle on leaded light (stained glass) cement to dry it out.

As a silversmith and goldsmith I offered to make a window, for indoors for a friend of mine lol. Little did I know is wasn't as easy as you make it look! Did you stretch the came first? I've got my glass cut just about to solder, now if there was a video of me cutting the glass now that would be a laugh! It wasn't easy. Thanks for the video. Bebe

@bebe1375 no, the caame is said to be pre-streched as it comes. BUT, I straighten and open the cut pieces of came before fitting them into place.

What does cementing do? I'm just starting with stained glass and I don't really know what you were doing with that stuff in between the pieces of glass either. what is the difference between that and using copper foil and solder?

About how long did the process take from start to finish? Do you do a lot of work with lead? And why that particular song?
