  • the same lies and false accusations from the powers that be - radio one and all commercial stations in uk owe their very EXISTENCE to Radio Caroline and the other offshore stations. And Britain is the so-called 'worlds oldest democracy'???

  • Yes, I quite agree. This is the 'Democracy' that jammed Radio Nordsee International in 1970 because it was a free voice.

  • Pirate Radio in the 1980's - Eurosiege free at W W W . TV-Video . us

  • Jamming itself was a act of piracy, not even done in wartime. they were out of order.

  • totally illegal harassment of 2 radioships.outside British jurisdiction for a start.Should be accountable for using taxpayers money in vendetta against these legends who brought joy to millions.

  • Didn't the government have something better to do with their time and resources?

  • I really miss Laser :-( Keep tuning around on AM in the south-east and you may still hear some of the land based pirates at weekends. AM radio is still alive and well and not been killed by 'Gold' stations.

  • Some great footage of both ships and Peter Philips too!!
