this is one of those tunes that was a work in progress with Tom and the band and really didn't stick around in the set list.
This makes it a very RARE find, as to Tom Grant tunes.
He wrote it, and I can't recall a title, working or final.
There is a :20 second Rogers Cablesystems video on this channel that was part of this tune, so now you can hear it in it's entirety.
live at Mt.Hood Festival of Jazz '85 Shot by David Jester for Pro Audio. Show was originally produced by Alan Alexander III for Multnomah Cable Access.
The usual suspects:
Tom Grant piano and vocals
Dan Balmer guitar
Jeff Leonard bass and vocals
Carlton Jackson drums and vocals
I dont think this is a David Jester Video. If the year was 1985 as it says, it is a Rogers Cable TV Video. I know as I was the mobile truck engineer for many years at the Mt Hood Jazz Festival. Additionally, I recognize the cameras Hitachi FP21s which were owned by Rogers and I don't think David Jester had an FP21
