love the way chanda ruben calls a match..so articulate and being one of davenport's buddies in the tour, is naturally pro-davenport...so yay! davenport here shows that her game (groundies, serve, court-sense, anticipation, aggressiveness) can stand the test of time (same goes for capriati's game *see capriati vs sharapova german open 2004).

funny thing though, i found that the ones like pam shriver & mary carillo werent great singles players but got so many damn opinions about those who are better than they were. im like shut up sometimes..it aint like u won grand slams, u know? lol

@tennislover12 davenport was probably 1 of the greatest stikers of a ball in the game, she could hit the ball hard and very accurate.

Lindsay was moving so slowly after her comeback even for her standards. I had to laugh at 5:08 when Linds returned and started to "run" and I am a huge Davenport fan. Nevertheless, her big groundstrokes and Ana's psychotic brain helped her in this match.

@iseered22 she hits big but she has too but not the biggest hitter. there is a website you google it that shows average groundstroke speeds. she is not that high up. but she is a great player. i miss her
