I performed a short 30-minute recital on May 31, 2008 at my parents' house, for a very small audience. This is my first live performance of solo piano music in about a dozen years. All of the pieces performed are "works in progress" you might say!

The piano is my mother's 5'11" K. Kawai, which she purchased new in 1970. It is the piano I grew up playing.

  • Great job!! :) I know this piece is really difficult, but what do you think is hardest?

Your piano is really nice, and you play it well!

  • Thanks! I think the Mozart is the most difficult, followed by the Scarlatti. The piano is my mom's, but I played it from the time I was five until I went away to graduate school. It's nice to get to play it when we visit my parents.
