A little tutorial I made in about half an hour to show how to do a "Fuel Rod Jump" and what awesome things can be achieved by it.
If done correctly in a regular gametype (normal health and shields) it will only take out your shield.
If in a varied gametype with higher health and shields you can shoot the ground or a wall you are against several times to gain more height. I will probably make another video about this.

Music:
Machine Gun [16 Bit Remix] (Noisia)

I use Fraps, a recorder used specifically for PC games.
And I use Windows Movie Maker (I don't need anything fancy haha)

  • You can get on that doorway by jumping and then crouching at the corner of the doorway... :/

Interesting music, but the fuel rod jumping method isn't very useful ingame. And for actual trick jumping it's better to be using a 800% health gametype - which will let you do explosive combination up to PPPPFRs without dieing. (Even higher if you are "it")

Other notes: Some of the shortcuts in here are good, but those on small maps really would never be used.

    Overall, pretty good. ;)

  • @Matortheeternal please note that this is just a tutorial that I only spent about half an hour on, and I only used the doorway because it was the closest thing there...and yea i know about the gametype but that really wasnt my goal. My goal was to show that it can be done in regular games as well. I use the jumps all the time in regular games.

  • Oh and btw great vid

  • @ShinyDodrio34 Thanks for the comment! I just use Fraps, a game recorder for the PC. And to make the words I simply edit it through Windows Movie Maker.

  • @LAXdoubleK I use a few of them myself, mainly the ones on Danger Canyon. I knew that this probably was a quick tutorial, but I decided to just point the stuff out I was thinking anyways. :)

  • @LAKdoubleK how did u video tape it so good and make the words??????????
