  • I was forced to take xr for 5-6 weeks( it took a while to show to these dealers they were wrong), ~600mg/d. First time - 600mg(!).With the help of such amount i've got the most horrible nightmares( i thought i was dying in my bed, i couldn't even switch the lights off..) of my life... +12 kg.. :(

  • Seroquel saved my life, my mood has improved and I wake up feeling relaxed, calm and stable.

  • I just get scared of addiction and side effects. So far no bad side effects (only 2 days in 50mg once at night) except for constipation. I hope I dont gain weight, I eat fairly well, so that hopefully wont be a factor. My doc said if I get the munchies, munch healthier snacks not what my body is craving haha. Im happy that I finally got some help and Seroquel XR seems to be what will help me, along with clonopin as needed for anxiety panic attacks.

  • I am 2 days in to 50mg Seroquel XR at night and it has helped me stabilize my moods very well. I am taking it alone for bipolar 2. No other pills. It is hard to wake up in the morning but once I shower and start getting ready I am good except for if I sit comfortably somewhere then im sleepy again. But as far as my up and down and unstable, uncontrolable up and down feelings have reallllllly mellowed out to a stable feeling. I like feeling normal and not scared of my brain going to freak on me.

  • @Vulcanicer Thank you! I appreciate the advice from someone who has restless legs syndrome. I might do well on Seroquel since my RLS is much better with Requip. My sleep is still pretty messed up from going well over a decade.

RLS and severe insomnia are the only reason I'd need it for. Severe insomnia is horrendous

  • @keliata I had retless leg syndrome, but it goes away after a while on meds, now I never have it and my sleep is so improved! I fall a sleep right away and I dont feel drowsy the next day. It didnt increase my weight and I have a very healthy weight now. I think genetics play a part in the increased weight seen in some people.

I would say you should give it a try for your insomnia.

  • yea, the Seroquel really, really knocks you out the first period. After that it doesnt do that. I am on 400mg at morning and 400mg at night. I find it really good for sleeping, before I started Seroquel I could lie in my bed for hours, now I fall a sleep fast and I dont have any side effects.

Seroquel effects doesnt fully set in before 1 month.

  • WEED, is a great natural remedy for depression. Only side effect is junk food. I can live with that.

  • Can someone pleaase pleaase pleaaaase make a .gif of his face @ 2:33 when he says ''I REALLY DON'T CARE!'' Gotta love it :D
