Mark Rust sings about of the boyhood joys of autumn ... Jumping in the Leaves. He was entertaining the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Passaic County Community College in Paterson, New Jersey on November 20, 2007
Like many, I too enjoyed many Mark Rust "coffee houses" - in my university days in London Ontario. I have never experienced a performer like him (I'm 50 now). It is a rare gift to take everyday experiences that have special memories for many, and turn them into songs that capture the essence of that experience. Mark does that - and his performances of them are very rich (vocally and instrumentally).
Mark Rust is fabulous. I used to go and listen to him around London, Ontario.
By any chance, do you have audio or video of song about bicycle riding that he used to play on 12-string? I heard him play it once in 1980 and have never ever forgotten it.

Mark, thanks for the memories!
