This is so awesome! I just came to see what I can find here on the subject after I found out that the median annual salary is $60,000.00 a year! Wow! Good luck girl! This is so interesting! I see that you posted this a year ago, so I'm curious to know how it's going?

Time for an update on you progress.

Hi! I think that's awesome that you're working, raising a family AND studying how to become a stenographer. I'm going to enter a court reporting school next semester and I'm already freaking out how I'm going to work on the weekends and make everything work. How do you do it?? Is it even possible? You're awesome.

Hello, great presentation.tell me something, you mentioned at home learning. how does that work if you study and practice on your own? do you just go take the test afterward to be certified? thanks.

I am in 225 speed right now. I have been in school for 4 years. I do Pheonix Theory which ive been told is the hardest one. Good luck on learning! Its a fabulous career. And trust me the period, commas, question marks, and later the speaker identifications become second nature. :)

Congratulations on starting to prepare yourself for a new career. I teach the theory and I was a reporter before. In addition to the three things you mentioned you need, add English grammar. Without that, it would be difficult to write if you don't know what you're writing.

I think it's pretty cool that someone has come on to tell people about the before building your speed. I thought it was this big secert.
I'm not affiliated with any stenography company nor am I representing any school.
