Unfortunately, the full moon parties are in steep decline, having become a blatant commercial affair. The music is R&B and the beach is crawling with plainclothes police. On full moon night you'll find 90% of partygoers wandering around drunk, gawking at 10% who came to dance. Look at the videos, they tell the truth. Find another party spot because this beach scene is OVER and has been for several years. It's only a matter of time before McDonalds arrives.

Very true nunyogoddamnbidness. I chose India this year and just got back from Goa and the place is still rocking with underground parties and they just had a major dance festival on as well.
