Long time ago I heard Maurice Ravels transcription for two pianos four hands. But I missed some from the original score. So I decided to write a version for two pianos and eight hands. Nothing against Ravel, he was and is a genius, absolutely inimitable! It's only an attempt to come more closely to the original - eight hands can do more than four.

  • Simply Magnificent!

  • Good video.... Thanks for Share....

  • I wish the other piano majors and I at my college could do this for a recital. Haha it would be so much fun. :)

  • 6:30 is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard in my life.

  • Reducing a score as complicated and beautiful as Debussy's takes some effort. Wonderful job Gerhard!
