hey gang -
the girls started talking about this last night and when i thought dinner tonight, this was it.
Portabella Pizza - Recipe makes 2 servings @ 174.5 c + 11.1 p
1 package portabella shroom caps (usually 2 per package)
1/4 c + 1/8 c of ragu pizza sauce (i used 1/4 c and that was not enough, then i used another 1/8c and it was perfect)
1/4 c low fat mozzerella cheese
1/2 orange bell pepper
1 TBSP bacon bits
14 pieces of pepperoni (i used 5 on each pizza and ate 4 more :))
preheat oven @ 350
spray pizza pan with PAM
lay the shrooms down and divide ingredients among 2 caps
bake @ 350 for 12 - 14 minutes
broil on HI for 3-4 minutes
enjoy!
Oh so is the mushroom soft?

I made a Portabello Mushroom pizza today: made with tinned tuna fish, onion, pizza base sauce and half-fat grated mozerella cheese (from Tesco supermarket). It was very tasty, but the cheese didn't melt it just went crispy - I'll just use ungrated next time. which wasn't as nice. Tasty nevertheless.
