nuumskee: We Americans are watching Aljazeera English, and learning that you are not too different from us. We are being encouraged by the Peoples' uprisings in the Middle east and taking the lessons to heart. Democracy in America is endangered by the powerful monied corporations and some of the people in the top 1% of the population, who want to take over and turn our country into a Plutocracy. Keep posting and we will all learn from each other. Thank You for your perseverance, and courage.

I tip my hat to her and all courageous women in the world who are defending human rights and women rights. Respecting women's rights is way overdue. My heart is with you.

@nuumskee It is beautiful.
You see these Yemeni Women front & center leading the revolution regardless of hair or face cover? You see a supportive husband proud to stand by his wife, even while she shuns tradition by going out at night, and conversing with men with intelligence and wisdom. She even risks going to jail for liberation!?
Doesn't this turns all sorts of notions upside down & inside out?
Everything isn't so black & white in the middle east or Islam for that matter.

Tawakkol seems to have a good husband, wish more Arab men were like this guy, and not have a inferiority complex. Unfortunately this goes for men in general.
