To quote the recording ledger: HMV Cat B5083, matrix Bb8367 take 3, recorded 19 May 1926 - directed by Ramon Newton, vocal by Ramon Newton. This was recorded at Hayes - the labels state "The Savoy Orpheans at the Savoy Hotel, London", but this was a contractual advertising arrangement - it was not meant to imply that they RECORDED at the Savoy. If they did, the HMV recording van would be needed, and its output had matrices with a "BR" prefix at that date.
