Elena tells Damon he lost her friendship forever and Damon accuses her of manipulating him. Loved this clip as heartbreaking as it was I don't actually believe Elena.

Even though I know that Elena isn't a bitch. I just got so pissed at her for doing that to Damon. I mean, she really looked like a bad person there. You don't go talking about morality and then you do what you said "friends" shouldn't do. I understand her, Damon 'killed' Jeremy without even knowing he was wearing the ring, but that was just so mean of her, knowing how Katherine used Damon, It was sad that she did that too... And I thought the same as Damon, at least during that scene.

@TurnRight94 it just shows how Damon is capable of bringing out the best and WORST in her. She became his friend, trusted him and showed her compassionate side by trying to understand him and he betrayed that friendship by doing something so deliberately cruel just because he was hurt. I get it Elena is hurt and angry at him and it brought out her manipulative side. DE have a long way to go before they can be together but that's why I ship them =)

As much as I love Damon, I'm glad that Elena used him. Since he's come to town, he's used any and everybody to get what he wanted and didn't give a crap. The fact that she was able to look past things he's already done is amazing to me. But when he snapped Jeremy's neck, he crossed a line. So I don't feel bad for Damon. His actions have consequences and he needs to see that.

What friends shouldn't do?

She shouldn't be friends w/ someone who tried 2 murder her brother....& her best friend Bonnie...& a guy who harmed her other friend Caroline...& the guy who sexed, killed & turned her mother into a vampire than bragged about how delicious she tasted on stage! I luv this show 2 death but I always hated how fake & phony the writers make the characters 4 easily 4giving Damon 4 all that he's done.

And u mean to tell me Damon (who is a KILLER) doesn't deserve to be used?? He deserves WORST than that. He has the nerve to even call her out on being like Katherine b/c he's more like Katherine. They're both killers! Elena is actually 1 of the most pure hearted ppl on the show. She forgives Damon every time he does something unforgiveable. It's kinda making me lose respect 4 her cuz she's too soft @ times. She needs 2 be harder on Damon's crazy ass.

Oh please. R u kidding? She had a right 2 use him & be mean to him after what he did. I know it's a TV show but in REAL LIFE there's no way in hell I would be nice to the guy who tried 2 kill my brother! I think it's kinda fake & unrealistic of the show that she does forgive him eventually. He killed her birth mother, turned her into a vampire, tried 2 kill Bonnie once, tried 2 kill her brother, abused Caroline at one point..the list goes on & on of all the bad things Damon did.
