@RuffianQueenOfRacing You are crazy. Horse racing puts just as much stress on a horse as barrel racing does. I have trained Thoroughbred racehorses, standerdbred racehorses, high quality barrel horses, pleasure horses, cow horses, gaited horses, and probably any other kind of horse you could think of. ALL good barrel horses have support boots. Obviously you have never seen a good barrel horse.

@1JonasLoveForever1 i work with racehorses and ive had experience with barrel racing, i just dont like it! and the horses ive seen, didnt have those "boots". i know that horse racing is no where near as cruel to the horses, nor does it put as much pressure on them.

@RuffianQueenOfRacing @djwqoijdio You both are incorrect on many things. A.) Horse racing is just as cruel as barrel racing. B.) They are NOT the most dangerous equestrian sports (I should know, I compete in just about all of them). Don't get me wrong, I love barrel racing and track racing.

Also the 'mean leg gear' keeps them from blowing muscles, it does nothing for their feet, thats what bell boots are for to keep them from ripping themselves to peices.
