This truck was one of the best trucks there. It was a multipurpose engine that had 2000gallons of water on it with a 2000gpm pump. It had extrication tools, axes, fans, saws, multi-gas detectors, ladders, a folding tank, and sat a 5 person working crew inside. So for you people that think its overdoing it, it may be but it served a purpose. @caseihmagnum93 he wasn't over paid, he was underpaid. He was never away from the fire department for more than a day and didnt take a raise for 10 years

@BikerBry so to sum this up for you- his money bought what he wanted, thats the reason they got big fancy trucks (also bought with help from fundraisers)-- So quit disrespecting the department for something they cant help. They cant help that when he left this world he left Mt. Horeb with big fancy tricked out fire trucks! Taxpayers money goes to what the station NEEDS not what the firefighters want.

@BikerBry You can think what you want, one thing that is slightly mentioned in that video is his money went to the trucks and the department making things look cool, Taxpayers money went to keeping the department running electricity,water,the Basics..Just trust me when i say that cause I worked there when he was chief he was and still is an idol and if you are not in the fire service than ya you wouldn't know him. But if your a firefighter (it doesn't matter where) shame on you.

@caseihmagnum93 Yeah... I watched it... what is that supposed to mean to me? What does that prove? He was a dedicated Fire Chief... doesn't mean he get whatever he wanted at the taxpayers expense. AND if he died with that kind of extra cash to donate, how much money were the taxpayers paying him? Sorry... not buying it. This Fire Department is WAY over budget and the equipment and special paint are a waste of money. Chuck Hinsel might be great to "somebody", but he doesn't mean anything to me.

@BikerBry Right i agree with that one... but the fire department doesn't use much from taxes especially for the trucks they were all built and tricked out from mostly Chuck's pocket. Respect him and what HE has done with this department or keep your dam fingers off the keys. THANKS!

@caseihmagnum93 No thanks... I lived in Mount Horeb and paid my taxes, when they started wasting money on those fucking round abouts... I was done! MH City Council wastes more more money than any small town I have ever seen.
