Desert Sin performing "Scylla" at Bellyfusions, Paris

"Scylla", cursed because she did not return a man's love, was turned into a sea monster known for tearing apart and eating her victims. Having been asleep for years in the depths of the sea, she is awakened by the feel of sunlight and slowly rises to the surface. As she remembers her demise she starts a bitter and seductive attempt to lure as many possible back down to the ocean floor with her.

Renaessance: The music is original. It is composed by three different composers, all of which I sat with individually to discuss the nature of this character and choreography. I then combined all three versions, along with sound effects, to suit the needs of the choreography.

More? More please..? I have to say, I kind of agree w/Kalessahuine... This was so stunning gorgeous (to see and to hear).. where can I find the piece in its entirety..? And may I ask about the music? I adore the music and vocals in this piece. As a singer I'm utterly fascinated by the music, and as a burgeoning dancer, the choreo has me totally transfixed. :) Either way, kudos!!
