This travel ramp was custom built by Tetra Society of North America's volunteer engineers to enable a lady who gets about by scooter to negotiate inaccessible European sidewalks -- in this case, Paris, France. Check out Tetra if you want to overcome a physical barrier in your life, or if you want to "donate" your engineering skills to individuals in your own community: www.tetrasociety.org. (Music courtesy of the Yayhoos -- Roam from their spectacular 2006 disc Put The Hammer Down.)
Ya know, if I'd have any class, I'd have used the Gary Moore/Phil Lynott track Parisienne Walkways for background music. . . And I'm a huge Lizzy fan! Instead, I went with something shorter and punchier, picking the Yayhoos track 'cos of the Dan Baird, Georgia Satellites connection. (The Sats were the finest live band I ever saw.)
