  • @jiggahippo Well outside the Fujian province there are a lot of variations of this.

  • Hi - where did you learn that in China?

    Regards,

    Martin

  • Hi mate, I learned this and recorded this in Fujian province, at a martial art school called Taining Rising Dragon Martial Arts School. if you want any more info about feel free to ask me, or just google it, the website contains all the info.

  • looks like Sanchin kata from many types of Karate. No surprise there though, seeing as Goju ryu and other styles took many forms and techniques from fujian and other southern chinese styles. cool.

  • i dont care to comment on the video content. the commentary displayed here is very disheartening though. Sanchin, the three battles of mind, body and spirit. Sanchin, the three seasons. Sanchin, the unification of mind , body and spirit. It seems to me some have lost this battle and cannot come to terms with it. Look at your beginning and look to your end, they are the same place.

  • @martinpaulwatts I have long know who your teacher. But anyway, thanks for reminding me. Let me remind you that your Russian friends do not need bayhe style, they need to authoritarian domination, sorry that you are not readers of Russian and can not appreciate the flight of their arrogance. Best wishes, Relictum.

  • @martinpaulwatts The fact is, Mr. Watts, I do not criticize other people, as do your Russian friends, I'm just expressing my opinion. You deny me the right to express their opinion?

  • @Relictum777 I look forwards to it. It will give your criticisms of other peoples performances more context.

  • @Relictum777 Thanks for the information. That is my teacher master Pan teaching the form chan xin zhong when he was visiting Russia. I am hoping to meet the Russians this June when master pan visits here in Spain.

  • @martinpaulwatts Perhaps you have seen video of a seminar in Odessa, Andrew Ogneva or video user brazol27 he named "Bayhe: Philosophical History (sound: Paul Mauriat)". In russian "Байхэ : философская история (sound : Paul Mauriat)". It will entertain you.

  • @martinpaulwatts With joy. But, knowing your attitude towards me, very much doubt.

  • @treeskaterable I look forwards to visiting when I am next in singapore and we can play "trapping legs" . Are you training with Paul Chew? perhaps you could post your performance of a form? Best Wishes, martin

  • @Relictum777 This is a good starting place. I am sure after the two years it is different now. I hope you will share with us your performance. Best Wishes, Martin

  • @martinpaulwatts Oops i am only now reading your reply... sorry... yes it is very important that angle strengthens your structure i would be able to throw you off balence or break your leg by leaning forward with my front leg... it would be better if i could show you as you need to experience it.... i learn this style in Singapore
