It originally appeared on the 1960 EP album, With a Song In My Heart and was included in the 2 CD set, Perry Como: Greatest Hits, on RCA released in 1999. This was requested by felixbautista.

This hit by Perry Como hit #4 on the Top 40 charts and #10 in the United Kingdom. It would come in at #39 for the year, 1956. And the hits are getting bigger.

This song in my opinion, and contrary to the more popular view, is a far greater and more enduring waltz tune, than the song More from Mondo Cane.

besides Perry Como had such a relaxed voice compared to that of Andy Williams big sound.

Thanks for a great post. I recently saw a Lawrence Welk show on PBS saluting Perry that played the song More, only they played the wrong one. Instead of this one they sang the song More from the movie Mondo Cane, the one that goes More than the greatest love the world has known. This is the love I'll give to you alone. A beautiful song, but not the one Perila sang.
