Gameplay from Commando playing on an Atari 2600 VCS retro games console. Retro gaming.

This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability.
It's simply a quick demonstration of the game so that anyone not familiar with these old games can see what it looks like.

Any opinions or comments I make regarding these games should largely be taken with a pinch of salt.
They are usually based on my first impressions after a very brief play.

  • nice love it !! :) but if some1 know ... how many bits where the atari 2600 ?? like the Nintendo was 8-bit and the super nintendo 16-bit ..... and its nice that im not the only one who loves oldschool games like this :) !!!!

  • @TacoTechno You're in very good company. There's a great big community of people out here who love the old stuff :D

The Atari 2600 is 8 bit, like the NES and many others. It's just more basic in most other features and specs.

  • Really really good animations and graphics for that little machine!!!

  • nice graphics for a 4 bit system

  • @SteveBenway you're wrong the 2600 is 4 bit the 7200 is 8 bit!

  • Just discovered this video. Wow Commando on the 2600 is amazing!

  • Yeah, it's not unusual.

Same as how quite often a popular video will be registering more ratings than views.

They have different servers to perform different functions, and more than one server for each of those functions.

Like I can upload a video and it shows say 50 views. Hit refresh and it shows 45 views, coz it's reconnected to a different server that's not up to date.

  • At the time I made that comment, I wasn't seeing the link from the other video either. I see it now though. Odd.

  • I didn't. It just isn't showing from here.

Youtube servers don't like talking to each other, for some reason :)

  • You forgot to link from here to there :)
