Nikon D90/Nikon D300s size comparison

This is just a size comparison between the Nikon D90 and the Nikon D300s - the only two DSLR cameras from Nikon (at that point) that record video.

You clearly are miss informed as the d90 and d300 perform the same and in some cases the d90 produces better photos especially in lower light. The d300s is obviously better but not by miles at all....

They are not in very different classes as far as IQ goes, it would be like comparing a Porsche 911 to a Porsche 911 turbo.

@deepseabadger now a days pro camera does not mean comparison of image quality but more on ergonomics, handling, durability, weather sealing, shutter life, shutter speed, backward compatibility mostly mechanical kind of stuff. you cannot find these things in cheap cameras. electronics is cheap but mechanical and optical things are still very expensive.

If I had to choose between d90 and d300s I'd go for d90. Both are not pro cameras and I'd go for the lighter and easier to use camera that is the d90. The buttons, settings and switching to live view is a lot simpler and. Both cameras have pretty much the same cropped sensor so I'd go with the smaller camera. However, if I want a big, sturdy top level camera, well that's d3xs but wouldn't be taking random shots in the park with it that I'm not making money from.

@prmass1 Price matters everywhere when u'r an amateur...Most would invest the extra on the lens instead of a bigger camera..

the d90 is the same exact size as the new Nikon D7000, thumbs up for that information.
