Kant's Objectivity vs. Subjectivity: I'm Selfish. Are You?

How can one say they are really in love when they're only in love with the anticipation of the emotions they're addicted to?
"Love yourself and then we can really start loving eachother" - Jill Scott.
"Birds of the same feather flock together"
"To know someone look at their friends"
We've all heard quotes like these...which proves my point.

Read Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics where he talks about friendship. In my opinion, it's the greatest work on the subject of friendship and love (philia/φιλíα).

@saxygurl8 I just finished it...he goes into a very annoying racial diatribe at the end that is ridiculous but I think the most interesting part is where he suggests that mankind's concept of self is rooted in his artistic perceptions in aesthetics. I have another great book Philosophies of Art & Beauty Selected Readings in Aesthetics from Plato to Heidegger which is very inteeresting. I think aesthetics are the next wave of philosophy...

@saxygurl8 we are not animals, so wut a wolf does with a sheep is irrelavent being thats it's a meat eating carnivore. A greedy nation should use their human reasoning and ability to compromise to get what they want/need. A selfish and greedy nation/person will unavoidably be teamed up on by others and bought down for it's selfish desires/wants, .ie Germany vs the Allies. Look at the ant bed we've stirred up in the Muslim world for oil.You should read Confusious/Confusionism.

Hmmmmm! I may be hearing you wrong but you say the wolf is justified in attacking the sheep because it needs to survive. We are not animals sweety. What if Mexico had a modern military and a million troops? Should they begin wiping out vast populations in Texas, Lousiana, and New Mexico to provide a starving population with food or should they appeal for AID. What if your home was Houston, TX? Should u sit idly as they invade rape and massacre because they are hungry or do u grow outraged?
