    Even if that was true, what would be the problem? Taking the best parts of many good games and turn them into one great game is... not very bad.

    a little fyi the fast majority of games borrow different elements from each other

    i cant think of a single game that if completely new in every single way and most developers even tell you what games they looked at and how to incorporate what was successful into their own game
