Daruma temple enshrines over 800 people who worked in the film world in Japan, including Yasujiro Ozu, Kenji Mizoguchi, Sadao Yamanaka, Mansaku Itami, Shozo Makino, Kinuyo Tanaka, Yujiro Ishihara, Hibari Misora, etc.
This video is a visit to the roots of Japanese cinema.

Well, it's a bit more serious than Kitano Takeshi's "Kantoku banzai" - but no matter, those ball puppets are funny enough.

Joking apart, it's really a captivating work - a prayer which moves everybody who, like me, love those old movies.

(Besides, you and Kitano resemble each other... I mean you both can be funny and serious alternately.)
