Mmm, green smoothies! But you should always CHEW YOUR SMOOTHIES!! Digestion begins in the mouth with our saliva so help your digestion and don't just swallow - CHEW :-)

$400? Trust me---it's worth every penny. I bought mine EIGHT years ago, and it is still going strong. Before that I was going through those $60 blenders every year and a half.
I don't sell these things btw, I just believe in them.

i like ur show but have hard time finding most products in thailnd, can you make a recipe, that has no nuts or seeds other then peanuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds, no nut butters, no raw oils , no squash, no fennel, no Watercress .no rocket,no olives, no lemons but lime is ok , no kale ( we dont get different types here so most of the kale is very bitter) , No dill, No rosemary, no bay leaf, no Celery seeds, no mustered seeds, no berries only tropical fruit. :)

i love them thanks!!
that smoothie looks delicious! But what about food combining? Aren't fruits to be eaten alone?

You can blend fruits with greens. That's a great food combo. See Victoria Boutenko's book, Green for Life.

Jenna,
I watched your documentary and I must say that its super great!! I have a questionI have read that when you cook your food/veggies/leaves the nutritional value changes, now what happens when you freeze your food (fresh bananas then you freeze them) or buy frozen fruits to make green smoothies? Does the cold/low temperatures change the nutritional value of the food?

Hi there : ) Freezing foods doesn't affect their nutrition like cooking does. Freezing is generally acceptable in the raw food lifestyle. But when you can eat fresh, it's always better.
Thank you for your kind words about my film!

Hi Jenna, excellent video. I've been making green smoothies lately, but I have a question that I've never seen answered anywhere. I've heard you should limit the amount of water you drink with a meal because it dilutes the acid and digestive enzymes in your stomach. I've wondered about the water or liquid that gets added in a green smoothie - does that affect the digestibility of the greens? Thanks.

Hi there! Thanks for your kind words! Green smoothies are an exception to that rule because the greens are "pre-digested" through blending. They digest much more easily. Get Victoria Boutenko's book, Green for Life. It's a great resource!
