Here's a video of a Sonic 3D Blast styled camera script which I was developing once. I like to call it "blastcam".

One notable problem is that it's very hard to control, but also it's a bit of a pain to set up (you have to look down before activating it), and obviously it distorts Software Mode's visuals a bit. I've never tried it on OpenGL, actually.

I'm not giving you it. By the way. I don't have it anymore

Used Tets' "Blue Heaven" mod, because the nice open environments help prevent the camera from getting stuck.

Recorded in CamStudio using the CamStudio Lossless Codec at 20fps. Converted to Windows Media Format in Windows Movie Maker.

  • link fail :b

  • @samuelguzz Sepwich went permanently down ages ago and I have no intention to reupload this piece of crap. However, thanks for bringing it to my attention so I can remove it. I doubt it'd even work in 2.0.x anyway, as it was made for 1.09.4

  • I'm sure the video hates you too.

  • @Blackstardude10 Considering it's like my most popular video, I think it does XD

  • @ultrasonic99099 Just like the title says. Thanks Captain Obvious.

  • @Steph9827 Yes, maxim old video is maxim old. this is 1.09.4, not 2.x

  • @Snip3rNife

I'm not criticizing you, I'm giving a few pointers. :3

But if the software ren- wait, never-mind... March 4th, '07.

  • @Steph9827 Why are you criticising me? This is shit anyway. Besides, I just SAID that the Software Renderer can't do fucking isometric views, and even if it could, I'm not even sure there's a console command that could do it.

  • @Snip3rNife Technically, that cam should look abit more isometric and slanted. Other than that, you could've done better >_>
