Marvin Gaye --I heard it through the grapevine 2011 remix

Using a digital lossless copy of the 8 track master tapes, Marvin Gaye's first number 1 hit has been remixed.

All sounds found in this remixed track are present in the original mix. This track is just the personal interpretation of the remix producer of the feeling and soul present in this track. This is for enjoyment purposes only and is meant for the pure enjoyment of Marvin Gaye fans.

Changes made: Orchestra score has been removed as well as the backing vocals. This helps the track to achieve a gritty and raw sound. More natural.

Volume was brought up on the percussion and the keys to add more soul and to have it stand out.

There is studio chatter present on the beginning and end of this track. The studio chatter was reduced in volume and covered by the orchestration in the original production.

I felt that this chatter would add warmth to the track and boosted the volume so that it was equal with the music. This allows the listener to hear some hidden gems.

All together this remix sounds like a jam session. I tried my best to paint an audio landscape that the listener would enjoy. Wearing a pair of headphones or sitting amidst a good surround sound system the listener can easily visualize Marvin and the band warming up and playing the track.
