  • considering i compete in this sport as a woman, i think i might be able to address some of these comments.

    the 20 on the side is in kilos, not pounds, plus the bar and the collars makes 65 kilos. that's 143 pounds she was lifting, not 20. as for spotting, olympic weightlifting doesnt need spotters, i've had stuff like that happen to me, and chances are, 5 minutes later she was fine. in this sport women compete against women, not men.
