This was my first attempt at the 48 Hour Film Project as 25 Square Feet Productions. It's a story about a couple of co-workers who's boss recommend they go on a fishing trip after putting a couple of tough weeks at work. What they end up doing though is quite different than anyone would expect from these two madcap sidekicks. We all randomly picked a genre out of the proverbial hat and got a comedy...not what I wanted but we ran with it. We also were given a line of dialog, a prop and a character we had to use like all the others this year and over the years in the competition. The best part about the whole weekend and the previous weeks leading up to it was spending time with the cast, crew and other friends who contributed to the making of our little film. The worst parts was the extreme heat (about 105F) of the day we shot and not getting any sleep the entire weekend writing (or trying to) and editing. I certainly learned allot about the whole film making process. I'll be much better prepared and equipped next year for the festival. Anyway, I hope that you get some comic relief from watching the film short and please feel free to add a comment, so long as it's positive:-) And to all my friends, family and employees who contributed to the film..."Go raibh maith agat " or Thank You (in Gaelic)!
Thanks! Stay tuned for a sequel we're gonna take some time on. Had a lot of people who wanted to see more of our Sheriff Cecil Norris
