  • Great comments. Thanks. The lead part was recorded live with a click track and a rhythm guitar using a Boss Loop Station. I played the lead all the way through from start to finish capturing it in Pro Tools with a GT Tube Condenser mic. Once the click, rhythm and lead parts were in Pro Tools, I added a bass part and added an additional rhythm part. I tapped the drums out on my keyboard using one of the drum kits that came with Garage Band. I used IK T-Racks plugin for mastering.

  • I really like this! Fantastic little tune. Well done. The guitar parts sound lovely. I've just a got a gold TV Jones Classic to fit into an old Squier Tele I'm messing around with. Going to pair it with a Seymour Duncan Hot Stack bridge p/up. No idea how it's going to sound or play - I'm replacing ALL the hardware - bridge, machine heads, controls etc, getting the body repainted and bound. Really excited. Thanks for posting this - gives me an idea of (hopefully) how it might sound

  • guys, remember... it's the complete package that reproduces this type of sound --> duo jet easton with the TV classics and the handwired marshall 1974x amp, a full host of pedals, at least 5 tracks (that i can hear...maybe more), studio mixing along with a fair amount of compression in the mastering. i'm not saying that the sound is over-produced, but this is sure not a rough studio cut. if you have a few grand$ to blow + studio time/money, you can get the same sound.

  • Your recording gear must be real good and expensive :) TONS OF TONE !

  • very awesome sound! thank you for sharing.

  • i just got one of these in black w/ gold hardware on trade...do you think the tv jones are better? if so by about how much better? just wondering whether i should get the tv jones. also mine has a tone styler knob installed by the previous owner...wondering if this is better or worse?? any experience with that or any info? great tone for sure! good job man!

  • cool shit doc:)

  • So awesome. Very Classic tone. Very well done. If you can't dig this than you wouldn't know classic rock if it bit you in the ass.

  • Ya got her nailed doc, KILLER tone to the bone! Man, it just don't get no better than that! Keep her rock'in my man!
