Evangelion 2.22: Zeruel battle: Epic Version

Trombe! overrides ALL!

A video response to one of the most epic videos of all time, this is the "epic" version of about the last twenty minutes of Evangelion 2.22, which includes the battle with Zeruel and the last bit of the movie. As noted, the video contains spoilers for Evangelion 2.22, so don't watch it if you don't want your mind to be thoroughly raped.


I'd originally planned to use a direct audio rip from the Eureka 7 Final Episode: Epic Version, but it turned out I was unable to cut out some parts of the video. It wouldn't feel right leaving out certain parts just to keep it down to three minutes, and so many of them seemed to fall in time with the music of their own volition. So I improvised, looping some of the audio so it could continue playing until the video was over. Due to the length of the video, I ended up using a smaller frame for the video to avoid a file size big enough to crush Youtube, so I'm sorry about the lack of quality. If need be, I'll redo it and include subtitles for the spoken bits of the video (though there aren't many).

In the end, I'm satisfied, which is a huge difference from my previous videos. It's not the most complicated,
