  • Well maybe we should put it in your backyard. It is not OK when these leechate ponds are running over and filtering into streams. The Tribal Councilors should be ashamed of themselves for even thinking of opening up this landfill again.

  • I have family who lives on top of one of the mountains adjacent to the landfill. They have to behold this thing in all it's glory everyday. When the wind is blowing in their direction, it is not very pleasent. In the summer it is ten times worse. I can applaud Cherokee Nation councilors Crittenden and Fishinghawk for their efforts to get this thing closed, but alas, the majority of the council who are chad smith ass kissers got their way.

  • Stop being such a wuss.

I think this landfill looks ok. I have seen much worse. It is just a bit household trash and a bit of dirty water that has mixed with the buried trash. There is NO proof that is a health hazard. It all looks fine to me. You are bound to get a bit of "Landfill leechate" with landfills it is perfectly OK. MOST household trash is safe anyway just some plastic bags, old food cans, Plastic bottles etc etc. It will rot away in time. Just give it a few years and it will rot.

  • This makes me want to vomit!

  • How awful! Indian Land being used as a trash dump. Why do they let this happen?

  • What a great video of land contaminations caused by the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma landfill in Adair County..Great flute music, too.
