Explanation by Rabbi Dr. Natan Ophir, director of JMIJ Jewish Meditation Institute Jerusalem. Did you know that Maimonides describes a meditative method?
Maimonides or Rambam in Hebrew (1138-1204) was a leading Rabbinic authority, codifier, and is considered the greatest Jewish philosopher of all times. In his magnum opus, The Guide of the Perplexed, he recommends a meditative focus of awareness with the purpose of receiving inspiration, connecting to Divine Providence and creating devekut (intense love and attachment to God). This meditation is based on settling the mind, quieting the sensory input and inner contemplation. Listen here to a brief introduction.

Thank you for demonstrating your own egregious racism. How am I not at all surprised that you're a rabid ultra-Zionist...

@OrthodoxDarwinist Same was said by other philosophers of the time including Plato and Aristotle. Rambam was just observing the blacks of his time and stating the facts and their capabilities. Now many blacks aren't on that level today, and he wasn't only including blacks. He was stating his observations and the character of those people in those societies at that time (which was true of those people, who weren't and didn't attain religious values).

“Those who are incapable of attaining to supreme religious values include the black coloured people and those who resemble them in their climates. Their nature is like the mute animals. Their level among existing things is below that of a man and above that of a monkey.” - Maimonides "Rambam", Guide To The Perplexed (Translation from the Hebrew Version)
Talmudic Judaism = Racism.
