When my mom was pregnant with me fifteen years ago, my dad cheated on her. She was always at his house and I grew to love the girl he was cheating with. Then it seemed like he dropped off the face of the earth and I didn't hear from him for seven years. He decided my mom and I weren't living up to his expectations and left. I wish I had a father like the one in this song. Growing up without a dad really made an impact on my life, being raised by a single mom. I wish he would have loved us more.
