Fraser river 10ft giant monster Sturgeon caught - 500 lbs!

Fishing for Monster Sturgeon on the Fraser River in Mission, British Columbia Canada while filming a TV show for Shimano Japan we hooked into and caught this 500 lb Giant Sturgeon Fish! The complete TV show can be seen at http://tv.shimano.co.jp/movie/tv/paradise_21/

Amazing vid guys! Those sturgeon make a man want to uproot his family and move to BC just for the fishing! What gear is that guy using...looks pretty light, but otherwise effective. Will keep you all in mind for a guided trip, as I want to make it up there some day soon.
