The Coalition to Stop MPS Takeover were surprised, perhaps shocked would be a better word, to find an "astroturf" organization lobbying outside of the Assembly Chambers on December 16, 2009, during a special session called for by the Governor. While the special session didn't take up the Mayoral Takeover bill, it was clear that this event allowed for the so-called Education Reform Now Advocacy (a front group for the national DEMOCRATS FOR EDUCATIONAL REFORM) to try to make an impact on the legislators there. But few of their members could answer the questions posed, especially what type of reform are you calling for? However, one person was the spokesperson, a paid lobbyist names said Katy Venskus, the state director of Democrats for Education Reform Wisconsin. Here is that interview...

The bottom line is the Democrats are illegally trying to reverse the results of the recent tea party victory. The teachers should be fired for striking. That's for private union not public ones. They are selfish assholes who would rather line their pockets than see the state have an economic future and a balanced budget. They have no honor. They stand for themselves only. They want more money and want to screw the kids and the state. No, screw union scum. Counter-rally. Make them eat dirt!
