To respond to all button problems. You have the green mainboard, at the right side you have a green plastic with 4 rubbers. When you press a button, it presses the black rubber. You have to test this mechanism. If that doesn't work, you'll have to be creative -> put a piece of paper or plastic between the black contact and the button to make it easier for the button to touch the black rubber. Otherwise, I would guess it's a problem related to the mainboard.

my psx controller works fine except one problem. its x button is on hold i mean its always pressed and thats why i cant use any other button. i used it in need for speed where u accelerate using x and it works completely fine even without pressing x button my car is running on full speed :).
any idea to fix it. its 10 years old

@almas1989 yes, if you open the controller, you will see a plastic underneath every button (or one plastic for all buttons). Probably that's the problem. It's not in the right place.
