ugh. real lucky (jonathan jackson's lucky) would never have been mentally controlled with a rock. or wearing a suit and tie, for that matter. shame how they started ruining this character the minute they recast it.

It was always an absolute joke to watch the show without John as Lucky Spencer anymore.
JJ was the "ONE & ONLY Lucky" back in the 90's, and for many years he was also considered the greatest young actor on the show.

It's the same thing as hypnotism. Hypnotists sometimes use crystal pendulums to put people in a hypnotic trance.

Somehow, Helena uses the rock (The Ice Princess, actually), to put Lucky into a trance and then uses his suggestive state to get him to do whatever she wants (i.e., use him against Luke).
