Extreme cold start -33C (-27,4F), no pre-heat, Mazdaspeed 6 turbo

Welcome to freezing Finland near arctic circle! Starting my Mazda6 MPS (aka mazdaspeed 6) at -33 Celsius without pre-heating. Enjoy that metallic sound and oily exhausts. I think some of those 260 horses died during the start.

Yes it was. Actually you can see quite a many Chryslers these days here in Finland. Sebring especially is worth the money imo.

The lower the temperature is, the higher idle revs there are. I did not touched the throttle for first five minutes.

did you push the accell. few times before turning the starter on? usually helps..

You don't have a block heater? Do you realise how much damage you do to an engine starting it this cold? At least tell me u had synthetic oil?!

Glückwunsch, du bist tatsächlich ein Idiot... Ey du Vogel, nach 5 Tagen bei Minus 25 Grad ist das eine Meisterleistung, wenn da das Auto noch anspringt... Normalerweise kannst du dir dann eine neue Batterie kaufen.

@Randolo88 Remember this is a Mazdaspeed 6 and he is in Europe. They tend to run thicker oils (I don't why).
